I always recommend testing new diamonds, and in fact, I have even tested some old ones in the past.
I am a little paranoid about things I admit that. When it comes to serious investment,s it better to be safe than sorry, and I like to test all kinds of things. Whether it’s computer backups, fire alarms, or precious stones, testing occasional beings me piece of mind.
I always buy gems that have been GIA or otherwise certified so I know I am getting the quality I pay for, and testing to make sure that the stone is a real diamond just brings an extra smile to my face.
Sure some girls may pawn off or sell some diamonds that they have received, but I think most of us keep them forever. You discard a box of chocolates, and a vase of roses only lasts so long, bu diamonds last much longer. I have diamonds from years ago, my diamonds have outlasted many relationships, and I keep them as treasured memories.
